We do the same in our Danish German household with some Polish traditions from my grandparents and I think it spices things a bit up:-)

		<description><![CDATA[Love hearing about different cultures and how they celebrate Christmas.     I come from a mixed heritage background with a dutch grandmother so we had our own tradition that were different from my friends in the UK.   We have taken certain Danish things with us after our time there (the food especially ris-alamande!) and we have a lot of red and white decorations on our tree!    We have also adopted a few German traditions now too that we will take with us when we move onto our next location too...]]></description>
