Attention – Attencione – ACHTUNG!
One of the words that probably most people know in German is the word “Achtung”. It means be careful, pas på, dikkat, uzmanibu, atención, attention or attencione.
It actually has a positive meaning. Somebody wants to make you aware of something. Somebody cares…. But it just sounds so harsh.
Hape Kerkeling is one of Germany´s – in my opinion – best serious comedians. He brings things to the point and is just hilarious. Watch the 2 minute video where he describes an announcement at the St. Peter´s Square in Rome in different languages.
